One of the great things about learning English is that it helps to connect individuals to people around the world easily. English is a social language, and learning is a social skill. It's a known fact that younger generation should have all the four skills of English language to survive the competency engulfed them. There are multiple ways to learn English language through recreational activities and playtime activities that integrate language learning with fun. Games are fantastically tricky for learning at any age, but they are particularly important for young learners. There are many free learning activities that need to be authentic. When it's available on a computer or a tablet, help the child practise all four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Games and other creative activities can also be learning opportunities and support outside the classroom. So here are some activities kids can try at home. These are quick and easy ways for them to practise a little bit of English every day.
Songs: They are a great source of ‘real-life’ language and they can use music to practise lots of different language skills. Most of all, songs are a fun way to learn English!
Tongue twisters: It helps enormously to have regular speaking activity with fun & creativity. This will help them to feel more confident to speak in English.
Word games: Vocabulary that kids tend to use at each level of language learning. It enables them to produce free vocabulary lists, so that they can learn the most useful English words.
Story writing: Kids can imagine people, landscapes, colors, emotions, sounds, voices, smells, tastes and so on. They can create their stories.
Riddles: It helps to have real reasons for using a language, rather than just studying grammar. kids learn language quickly using critical thinking skills with different opportunities provided to them.
Storytelling: Stories can make them feel excited, sad, happy, surprised. The characters come ‘alive’ and they escape our world – living for a moment in a magical, different experience. It’s a power
ful and motivating way for them to learn language.
As technology continues to play an increasingly important role in English language learning both inside and out of the physical classroom, we understand, now more than ever, the urgency to provide kids with the skills and confidence to effectively leverage it to benefit all age groups.
There are many free apps and programs available online which turn learning English into a game. Kids will enjoy these a lot more than a traditional class. Language learning from an early age helps them to pick up languages very fast. Hence, these are some of the platforms to help kids learn English at home. They do a bunch of grammar and vocabulary lessons disguised as games. Thus, it’s a little more colorful and fun than the more serious apps like Duolingo, Mondly, Memrise, British Council Learn English Applications, BBC Learning English, HelloTalk, Beelingu and many more. Learning English classes becomes more flexible. If they are learning with an app, they can take “classes” spontaneously, any time they need some worthwhile entertainment.
“The main idea is to involve creativity and fun, which is about having new ideas and expressing themselves in their own way to learn language. It can be singing songs, writing stories, creating videos, or thinking about how to solve a problem.”
